Description

Emergency Radio 583 PRO is a robust and multifunctional crank radio developed for emergency preparedness, outdoor life and situations where access to electricity is unavailable. With multiple charging options – USB-C, crank, and solar cell – you always ensure access to vital information, light, and power when it is most needed.

The radio covers both FM and AM and has automatic channel scanning for quick access to broadcasts. The integrated Bluetooth function also allows you to use it as a speaker in everyday life. With a powerful 10W speaker, you get clear sound regardless of the environment.

The unit is equipped with a camping lamp with multiple light modes as well as a flashlight with three modes, providing flexibility in the dark. In emergencies, there is an SOS alarm with both an audible signal and a red/blue light signal to attract attention.

The built-in 5000 mAh battery also functions as a power bank via USB-A, allowing you to charge your mobile phone or other important equipment. The construction is durable with an IPX5 rating, meaning protection against light rain and splashes.

Important safety instructions

  • Do not expose the device to water, moisture or strong heat.
  • Only use the included USB-C cable for charging.
  • Do not charge while charging other devices.
  • Do not point the flashlight at eyes – strong light.
  • Do not use if the product emits a burnt smell, is discolored or abnormally hot.
  • The product must not be opened, modified or repaired by yourself.

Charging

  • USB charging: Use the USB-C cable with a wall adapter or computer. Red indicator = charging. Green indicator = fully charged. Charging time: approx. 3.5 h.
  • Crank charging: Crank clockwise at a steady pace. 30 min provides approx. 200 mAh.
  • Solar cell: For emergencies only. Not for daily charging.

Basic functions

  • Power button – hold for 3 seconds to turn on/off.
  • M button – switch mode between FM/AM/Bluetooth.
  • Volume – adjust with +/- buttons (0–27).
  • Automatic channel search – hold down arrow key.
  • Bluetooth – pair via Bluetooth mode (DF-583 displayed on mobile).
  • Camping lamp – pull up the lamp, change color with button.
  • Flashlight – press the flashlight button (3 modes).
  • SOS alarm – hold down SOS button – sound & red/blue light.

Advanced functions

  • EQ modes (Bluetooth only) – Standard, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz, Country – switch with EQ button.
  • Search and save radio channels – hold down arrow key, channels are automatically saved as P01, P02, etc.
  • Manual channel search – press < or > to step up/down.
  • Reset – use a needle in the 'Reset' hole if the device freezes.
  • Mute – short press of power button in FM/AM mode for silent mode.
  • Charging status – red = charging, green = fully charged.
