Electrical waste (e-waste)

Electrical and electronic products must be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Directive, EU regulations, and Swedish law. All products powered by cord, battery, or solar panel are considered e-waste when they are no longer in use.

Product Safety and CE Marking

All electronic products we sell are CE marked and comply with EU requirements for safety, functionality, and environmental standards. CE marking indicates that the product meets applicable legislation.

E-waste Handling

E-waste must not be disposed of in household trash. End-of-life products should be taken to approved collection systems in accordance with applicable regulations.

Electrical waste and batteries must be handled separately and taken to a designated collection point for electrical products. This applies to all items powered by a cord or battery, including products with built-in batteries, removable batteries, LED light sources, cables and chargers. Remove loose batteries when possible, but never open products containing built-in batteries — return them intact. All electrical waste must be placed in the appropriate containers or delivered to a recycling facility that accepts electrical waste and batteries.

Information Requirements

We comply with the information requirements for electrical products and provide guidance on proper disposal of end-of-life electronics according to Swedish law and EU directives.

EU Declaration of Conformity

For products where required, such as emergency radios and hand-crank radios, an EU Declaration of Conformity is available. This document confirms that the product meets applicable EU directives and harmonized standards. The EU Declaration is available on request.
