The blade is forged in three layers with a carbon steel edge, just like the Vikings made their knives. The handle is made of ash wood, which gives a natural variation in color from light to dark. The brass details on the bolster and button give a period feel. The sheath is made of cowhide with brass reinforcements and a leather cord for safe storage.
