Description

Tactical Foodpack Heater Bag with heater element lets you heat your freeze‑dried meals completely without fire, gas or electricity. Add approximately 150 ml of water and the heater element is activated, raising the temperature up to around 100 °C and maintaining heat for up to 25 minutes.
This means you can enjoy a hot meal even when it is impossible or unsuitable to make a fire – whether you are in the forest, in the mountains, in the field, or using it as part of your home emergency kit.
The Heater Bag pouch is reusable at least 10 times. You simply replace the heater element between uses, which saves both money and the environment. The package includes 1 heater element.

How to use the Heater Bag with heater element

  1. Take the heater element out of the large package.
  2. Remove the element from the small plastic bag and place it at the bottom of the Heater Bag.
  3. Place your Tactical Foodpack meal pouch in the bag with the bottom against the heater element.
  4. Pour approximately 150 ml of water into the Heater Bag (up to the marked line).
  5. Close the seal quickly.
  6. The heater element starts reacting within 30 seconds to 3 minutes – the colder the water, the longer the start time.
  7. Let the food heat for 15–20 minutes, and stir once after about 10 minutes for even heating.

Storage and use
• Store dry, in a closed container, at approximately +15 °C to +25 °C.

• P231+P232: Protect from moisture.

During use
• The reaction in the heater element generates intense heat and hot steam – keep hands and face away from the openings.
• Water that has been in contact with the heater element is not safe to drink or use for food – always discard the water after use.

Personal protective equipment
• P280: Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection when handling loose elements.

In case of accident
• P305+P351+P338 (eyes): IF IN EYES – rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue rinsing.
• P335+P334 (skin): Brush off loose particles from skin. Cool with cold water or wrap in wet bandages.
• P370+P378 (fire): In case of fire – use an appropriate fire extinguisher.

Waste disposal
• P402+P404: Store in a dry place and in a closed container when not in use.
• P501: This heater element and its packaging must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national or international regulations.
